Hundreds of Zionist settlers desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque, led by Ben-Gvir
Today, at least 1,427 Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque as part of the annual "Flag March," a provocative event commemorating "Israel's" occupation of East Jerusalem during the Naksa in 1967. The march deliberately passes through Palestinian neighborhoods, with participants waving Israeli flags, chanting racist slogans such as "Death to Arabs," and engaging in incendiary behavior aimed at asserting dominance over occupied Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Last year’s march was especially provocative, with over 1,600 settlers storming Al-Aqsa, also led by far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. Israeli flags were waved inside the mosque, the Israeli anthem was sung, and for the first time since 1967, settlers brought black tefillin rolls into Al-Aqsa. In 2021, provocations during the Flag March triggered the Battle of Seif al-Quds, in which the Palestinian resistance responded forcefully to "Israel's" repeated desecration of al-Aqsa.
