Iran 'never sought nuclear weapons,' affirms FM Abbas Araghchi

Speaking at the Tehran International Dialogue Forum, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering commitment to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), stressing the country's readiness to engage transparently and fairly to reach a balanced agreement that respects its nuclear rights and leads to the lifting of sanctions. Araghchi further stated, "Iran is ready to open a new chapter in its relations with Europe, provided it sees a genuine will and an independent approach from the European side."
