Iran's President Pezeshkian visits Sol-eim-ani memorial site on first foreign trip to Iraq

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Baghdad on Wednesday for an official visit to Iraq, making his first foreign visit. Shortly after his arrival, Pezeshkian, accompanied by Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussain, paid tribute at the memorial site of martyr Lieutenant General Qa-ss-em Sol-eim-ani. Ali Akbar Velayati, advisor to Iranian Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei, highlighted the significance of this visit to Iran and Iraq, and its potential to strengthen Iranian-Iraqi strategic relations and promote regional peace and stability, in an interview with Al Mayadeen Net.
