Iranians bid farewell to martyred journalists in Israeli strike on Iran's IRIB HQs
On Monday, June 16, Israeli occupation forces targeted the Voice of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRIB), killing three employees, including senior news editor Nima Rajabpour and administrative staff member Masoumeh Azimi, and injuring others. This Israeli aggression is yet another testimony to the occupation’s deliberate and systematic targeting of journalists and media workers, in a clear attempt to silence the truth and suppress independent reporting. It also reinforces the reality that civilians remain the primary targets of “Israel’s” strikes, despite its repeated claims of focusing only on combatants.
