Israeli drone strike targets car, kills citizen in South Lebanon, amid 4,900+ ceasefire

Earlier this afternoon, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in South Lebanon reported that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle on the Qalawayh-Khirbet Selem Road in the Bent Jbeil District, marking yet another daily ceasefire violation. Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health has reported that the Israeli attack has resulted in the martyrdom of one person. Since the agreement was signed less than a year ago, the Israeli occupation has concentrated its attacks on South Lebanon and the Bekaa, carrying out over 4,900 assaults, including at least 2,650 airspace violations, 2,100 land violations, and 150 naval incursions. These repeated Israeli attacks and blatant violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty underscore "Israel’s" persistent disregard for the ceasefire agreement and the Western-backed impunity that enables its ongoing aggression.
