In a pre-dawn attack on Friday, a man set fire to display cards, posters, and flags at a pro-Palestinian protest camp near Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. The fire caused damage estimated in the hundreds of euros, though no injuries were reported, according to local police. The suspect allegedly poured gasoline over the items before igniting them. While the fire caused brief flash flames, it did not spread to the tents and pavilions at the camp. Police arrested a suspect shortly after the incident but later released him.
