In an interview on The Katie Halper Show, American political scientist John Mearsheimer dismantled mainstream Western narratives about October 7, arguing that much of what Western media reports is "a reflection of Israeli propaganda". Mearsheimer said it was "consistent with international law for Hamas to try to break out of the concentration camp and to engage Israeli military forces in combat," emphasizing that a lot of Israelis killed that day were soldiers or civilians killed by Israeli forces due to the Hannibal Doctrine.
