Pro-Palestine student protesters arrested at University of Notre Dame

Outside the Golden Dome at Notre Dame, pro-Palestine protesters stood their ground under the rain, chanting "No justice, no peace," as police officers broke down the demonstration. Just last week, Political Analyst Hanna Eid reported on around 50 students and community members who joined the Gaza solidarity encampment at the University of Notre Dame, who like fellow university students demanded "an end to the 15-minute demonstration rule...transparency regarding Notre Dame’s finances, and thirdly they want Notre Dame to divest from any links with Israel–academic and commercial." Eid also witnessed police brutality as they grabbed the protesting students, pushed them to the ground, and stepped over and around them, confiscating the tents they set up.
