In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Tehran University Professor Mohammad Marandi outlined Iran's approach to international relations by highlighting its efforts to diversify partnerships beyond the West, namely in Asia, China, Russia, India, Central Asian countries, the Global South, Africa, and Latin America. However, Marandi also noted that "President Raisi wasn't closing the doors to Western governments," mainly "wherever Iran could bring about change" in their behavior.
