Florida State Senator Randy Fine told a member of the public wearing a Palestinian Koufiyyeh to "enjoy your terrorist rag" as she approached the podium during a Senate committee hearing on Thursday. When confronted, Fine doubled down, declaring, "I'm the chairman, I can say whatever I want" and threatened to "clear the room" if anyone objected.
