Despite its unusual name, born from a mother’s attempt to protect her son from the evil eye, Hajji Ziballa's juice shop has stood for more than a century in the heart of Baghdad, Iraq. Founded in 1900, its famous raisin juice once attracted kings, presidents, and soldiers, turning the small shop into a witness of Iraq’s rich, yet turbulent, history, where every glass served carried a taste of culture and legacy.
