Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, compares Gaza to 'nuclear' blast site, denies genocide
Despite describing Gaza as a place where an "almost nuclear bomb had been set off in the area," Jared Kushner, former senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, along with US Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff, rejected that a genocide was committed in the Strip. During the interview with Lesley Stahl on CBS's 60 Minutes, Whitkoff revealed that Trump was not only "furious" but also "felt like the Israelis were getting a little bit out of control in what they were doing." Addressing "Israel's" strike on Qatar, targeting the Resistance's negotiating team, Whitkoff said that it caused a" metastasizing effect", shattering trust with Qatar as the "Qataris were critical to the [ceasefire] negotiations," and forcing Hamas to go underground, thus making it "very, very difficult to get to them."
