Amid institutional considerations of divestment and boycott that would stop the flow of capital from American universities to the Israeli economy, concerns were raised about the serious consequences that would affect the Israeli technological sector, which develops the occupation’s arms industry. Students have been protesting against the genocide in Gaza, and despite police assaults and arrests, among other means to crush their movement, their voices have been loud and clear, making their efforts to end the genocide tangible.
