US/Zionism versus Palestine: Some words
Arnold August argues that Gaza today mirrors Auschwitz, exposing the US-Zionist axis as a genocidal force and calling for unconditional Western support for the Axis of Resistance.

“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth,” Goebbels said. (Al Mayadeen English; Illustrated by Batoul Chamas)
Is a moral fissure once again dividing the planet to an extent perhaps not seen since the period leading up to World War II and the war itself? If not, is it safe to say Palestine has become the defining moment for the world in this 21st century? In this situation, it is understandable that much of Humankind appears to be facing the Palestinian apocalypse with an apparent loss of words to describe it.
History is one of the best compasses for appropriate words and actions. History explains and provides the terms that describe today. What are the historical precedents that can do the most harm to the US/Zionist narrative?
Palestine Words: Gaza is Today’s Auschwitz Holocaust Death Camp
Is this an exaggerated accusation? No. Is US/Zionism worse? The use of gas chambers in Europe came about after German Nazi troops complained of battle fatigue and mental anguish caused by shooting large numbers of women and children. Gassing also proved to be less costly. This is confirmed by the BBC: “Behind the lines, Nazi commanders were experimenting with ways to kill en masse. They feared that shooting people was too stressful for their soldiers, and so they came up with more efficient means of murder.” The US/Zionist war machine against Gaza not only shows no remorse, but the Zionists actively and publicly brag about their death camp accomplishments.
British filmmaker Richard Sanders is an award-winning TV producer specializing in history, news, and current affairs. He has made over 50 films, mainly for Channel 4 in the UK. Sanders explains that the US and Western-backed “Israeli” armed forces’ indulgence in their death camp accomplishments is not an obscure subculture of “Israeli” society. On the contrary, Sanders contends, the policy accurately reflects Zionist mainstream society. He answers the question: Why does the entity show many film clips on TV taken by the soldiers? It is to satisfy mainstream “Israel” to hit harder. “Gazans are not treated badly enough.”
American journalist and filmmaker Abby Martin has spent long periods in occupied Palestine, interviewing random Jewish occupiers on the street, regarding their views of Palestinians. She, like British filmmaker Richard Sanders, quoted above, claims that “less than 2% of Israelis think that they are using too much firepower….The issue is the fascist society, not just Netanyahu.”
Leaked footage of Israeli occupation forces sexually abusing a Palestinian prisoner from Gaza at the notorious Israeli concentration camp Sde Teiman has surfaced. It was broadcast on TV by Israeli Channel 12. The desired result: “65% of Israeli Jews oppose criminal prosecution for soldiers suspected of raping Palestinian detainees.”
This Israeli sexual torture scandal, whereby nine soldiers were arrested on July 29, 2024, for allegedly physically and sexually torturing Palestinian men, was depicted in Western media as a deviation from "Israel's" usual torture methods. The suggekstion is that Zionist torturers of Palestinian prisoners do not usually subject them to rape. However, “the Israeli army has been systematically using physical and sexual torture against Palestinians since at least 1967.” Other sources claim that this practise stems from 1948 in a documented article headlined “Detained soldiers accused of rape called 'heroes.’”
The role of the Zionist mainstream media: the centrist TV Channel 12 gave an uncritical voice to the soldiers' lawyers. At the same time, the right-wing TV Channel 14 went a bit further by featuring a 10-minute video interview with one of the accused. The role of the media in this rape case confirms Sanders' view that the shaping of stories is to satisfy and deepen the blood lust of mainstream society.
“The right wing wants the story to be justified and to go away so that soldiers can continue abusing Palestinian detainees with impunity. The center and left want it prosecuted so it can be chalked up to a few ‘bad apples.’ This story is about the systemic use of sexual violence as a weapon of genocide. And Sde Teiman [prison] is just a reflection of Israeli society, a cog in a network of torture that reflects and replicates an overall rape culture.”
In 2014, a Zionist University professor in occupied Palestine (you cannot get more mainstream than this) is quoted in a newspaper that declared that “Rape Would Serve as ‘Terror Deterrent’”. Is he still a professor? Yes.
Palestine Words: 'Never Again' or German Nazism Reborn in 'Israel'?
In addition to the words for Palestine being “Today’s Auschwitz Holocaust Death Camp,” we can deal with the false German promise of “never again.” Al Mayadeen used a pictogram of “NEVER AGAIN” in a report on the situation in Germany. After the US, Germany is the next biggest arms exporter to "Israel", accounting for 30% of imports between 2019 and 2023. In 2024, despite assurances to the contrary, German spending increased further. Germany is as evil as the US when it comes to the persecution of pro-Palestinians. In fact, from 2024 to date, media reports of physical suppression of pro-Palestine advocacy show that the brutal violence is so widespread that the home of “never again” is worse than that of the US.
One cannot view Nazi Germany as a phenomenon fixed in time, restricted to World War II. The Gaza death camp is just the tip of the iceberg. It is no coincidence that the Germany of today, as the second most crucial supporter of "Israel", is rearing its ugly Nazi head to turn truth on its head in the world to favor the US-Zionist narrative. May 9, 2025, is a watershed day for the entire planet, the 80th anniversary of the May 9, 1945, liberation from Nazi Germany. Why is the 9th of May so sacred for the Russian people?
Victory Day is a holiday that commemorates the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany in 1945. It was first inaugurated in the 15 republics of the Soviet Union following the signing of the German Instrument of Surrender late in the evening on May 8, 1945 (May 9th, Moscow Time).
However, according to a reliable machine translation of the Berliner Zeitung’s strictly confidential leaked report, “the German Foreign Office has decided that the official representatives of Russia and Belarus are not welcome in Berlin and Brandenburg at the May 9th commemoration events.” The handout recommends that districts and municipalities refrain from issuing invitations to Russian or Belarusian diplomats – and, if necessary, even to send away uninvited guests. ‘Should representatives of Russia or Belarus appear unannounced at events in Germany, institutions can use their domiciliary rights at their discretion and with a sense of proportion…’"
On the other hand, more than twenty heads of state and government are expected to attend the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9, including Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro, President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel, President of Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traore, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Israeli Ambassador Simone Halperin. Whether US President Donald Trump will come to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War is unknown. This was announced on February 13 at a briefing by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
What is at stake on May 9th is the Western narrative. It seeks to convert the perpetrators of Nazism, Germany, into a victim of what the West alludes to as present-day fascism, for example the Palestinian Resistance. In 2025, Gaza is at the centre of this war of ideas from which supporters of Palestine in the West cannot stay aloof. The Nazification of "Israel" is rooted in the original Nazi Germany and its current new face.
Palestine Words: Meet Today’s Goebbels
“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth” is attributed to Hitler’s Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels. Similarly, the Goebbels heritage is not fixed in time, an anecdote from the past that is supposedly not applicable today. This may shock some, but turn on your TV to CNN English-language news. You will see today’s edition of Goebbels staring you in the face. One cannot understand US domestic and foreign policy without co-optation. Furthermore, to simplify the US political system being just a “duopoly” or “both parties being the same”, blinds us as to how it sustains itself for decades; thus, leaving us prey to social democracy, the “left wing” of the Democratic Party.
A consistent and detailed analysis of the role of CNN on the issue of Gaza shows how co-optation operates. In the first stage of the war on Gaza after October 7, 2023, prominent CNN reporters and analysts all flocked to “Israel.” They focused solely on an airtight story against Hamas as “abominable” using the key words “terrorism” and debunked “rape” accusations as the justification for the “Israeli” war against Gaza. However, when the tide began to turn against the US-backed Zionist operation, both militarily (the Zionists' incapability of defeating Hamas) and in the realm of ideas, they went back to the comfort of their American studio and switched their story. To co-opt the growing opposition, they focused on Netanyahu as the problem to deflect from both the US responsibility and the Israeli Nazified society.
The classic case of co-opting to capture the support of American and international public opinion in support of war and aggression is the promotion of Barack Obama. Zbigniew BrzeziÅ„ski, Jimmy Carter's National Security Advisor from 1977 to 1981, said in an interview endorsing Obama’s first election bid over Hillary Clinton that Obama “recognizes that the challenge is a new face, a new sense of direction, a new definition of America’s role in the world.” Furthermore, in 2008, in reference to international public opinion, a top US think tank, the Council on Foreign Relations, asserted that “The election of an African-American had effectively countered propaganda about US racism.”
However, Obama’s “record over eight years in office makes him one of the most pro-Israeli American presidents since Harry S. Truman. Obama has given “Israel” considerably more money and arms than any of his predecessors. In addition, Obama initiated the violent regime change policies in Libya and Syria, and later fully supported the Biden-Harris-led genocide.
One of the most nefarious current Gobbelian lies in the West consists of the key phrase “anti-Zionism equals antisemitism.” However, in the US and Canada, as a result of the courageous ongoing struggle of the youth of Jewish origin alongside other students, even the mainstream media had to show some clips of the most spectacular incidents involving Jews against Zionism. Yet, American “identity politics,” so slavish when it came to Obama, could not “identify” this current significant anti-Zionist trend. The American TV news pans away from these awkward anti-Zionist scenes, and with a straight face, repeats the lie that “anti-Zionism is anti-Semitic.”
Palestine Words: Axis of Resistance
Let us make no mistake. The goal of US/Zionism is the extermination of the Palestinian people, just as the Nazis targeted Jews. In the face of this, the primary response from us in the West (in addition to boycotting, demands for divesting, and direct action against arms suppliers) should also be complete, unconditional support for the Axis of Resistance. This is increasingly taking hold in the pro-Palestinian movement. However, this encouraging trend should be vastly increased given the current situation in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
What is holding this back? It is the unfortunate US-centric preconceived notion of liberation and anti-colonial struggle. However, what does the Resistance’s key link, the Islamic Republic of Iran itself, say about this? On March 31, 2025, Imam Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, declared in a sermon:
“Throughout history, resistance to colonialism and imperialism has been a natural response by free people against oppression. Wherever nations or powers have sought dominance, resistance movements have risen to defend independence and freedom. This struggle is not unique to West Asia; examples of anti-colonial resistance exist worldwide. In South America, Che Guevara became a symbol of resistance against US imperialism, leading Cuba’s revolution alongside Fidel Castro.”
Furthermore, what did the assassinated leader of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan, say? Pay attention. He is more than Hezbollah. He is the embodiment of the heroic Lebanese and Palestinian peoples. Our colleague Tim Anderson wrote:
“Rarely has the world seen a great spiritual leader who was also a leading political analyst and commander in chief of a powerful army….Without breaking the ‘confessional’ Lebanese system, Sayyed Hassan created a resistance network that came to include the majority of Lebanese people and was a reference point for the regional alliance of independent peoples. That alliance crossed sects and religions.”
Furthermore, the following perhaps serves as the litmus test for those who still hesitate to support the Resistance openly. What did Sayyed Hassan say about “Israel controlling the US”? Did he make any remarks against “Jews controlling the US”? On the contrary, his view is more scientific and fact-based than many in the West who are blinded by US-centric notions. As quoted by Tim Anderson, Sayyed Hassan said:
“According to some theories, Israel controls America. No sir. It is America that controls Israel. The story about the Jewish and Zionist lobby is … a joke invented by the Arabs, so they do not have to fight Israel. They do this so they can go to America, deposit their money there, and establish relations with America under the pretext that they are creating an Arab lobby to compete with the Jewish lobby. After 75 years, we can see what came out of the Arab lobby. The Arab money is piling up in the American coffers, but that’s it.”
Some food for thought to hopefully fuel more open support in the West for the Axis of Resistance against US/Zionist Nazism.
