The Gaza Government Media Office shared statistics showing the number of aid trucks that have entered the Strip since July 27, when the Israeli occupation allegedly permitted the entry of humanitarian aid. Between July 27 and August 3, Gaza should have received at least 4,800 trucks, as 600 are needed daily to meet the bare minimum needs of the health, food, and essential service sectors. So how many actually made it through over the past 8 days, if not looted?
Rotten bread in Gaza aid drops: ‘We are human beings'
A video circulating on social media shows a Palestinian man in Gaza documenting the limited aid he received during a recent drop: half a bundle of rotten bread. The man also featured the story of another Palestinian, aged 65 and suffering from health issues, who is asking for nothing more than one kilogram of flour.
