Music artist Celine Dion is postponing the opening of her new Las Vegas show due to muscle spasms that have kept her from performing.
On Tuesday, the Canadian singer published a statement on her Twitter account revealing that she has been having "severe and persistent muscle spasms" and is currently being checked and treated by her medical team.

“I’m heartbroken by this,” said the Grammy-Award winner. “My team and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months, and to not be able to open this November saddens me beyond words.”
Dion's "Courage World Tour" shows that were scheduled for the upcoming months have been canceled and ticket holders are to receive a refund. The shows will be resumed on March 9, 2022, at the Resorts World Theatre.
