Tunisia pulls "Death on the Nile" over Israeli Gal Gadot
The new film starred Gadot, an Israeli actress, and was banned in Kuwait and Lebanon.
Following the lead of Kuwait and Lebanon, Tunisia has pulled "Death on the Nile" from its cinemas, due to the starring role of former Israeli occupation forces member Gal Gadot.

The Agatha Christie adaptation was pulled over anti-normalization protests with "Israel", Tunisian authorities confirmed Wednesday. It had been running since February 9th, but according to the ministry's press office, the visual arts authority agreed to no longer run it.
Kaouther Saida Chebbi, head of an anti-Zionist woman's movement in Tunisia, declared that "The main actress in the film is Israeli, was trained in the (Israeli) army and supports the colonization of Palestinian territory."
In 2014, Gadot commented on Facebook in 2014 in support of "Israel's" war on Gaza.
The offensive war killed 2,251 Palestinians, the vast majority of whom were civilians.

Tunisia has a lengthy history of supporting the Palestinian cause, having housed the Palestinian Liberation Organization from 1982 until 1994.
It banned Patty Jenkins' picture "Wonder Woman", which also starred Gadot in 2017.

Gadot’s Zionist history
The Zionist actress came into prominence in 2016 when she played the role of the comic book character Wonder Woman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, before starring in a spin-off film about the character in 2017.
Wonder Woman was banned subsequently in Lebanon, Qatar, Tunisia, and Jordan following boycott calls from pro-Palestinian activists and the BDS campaign.
Gal Gadot says she possesses a strong connection to her Israeli identity, which becomes more apparent when taking into consideration the two years she served in the IOF, as well as her staunch support of Israeli barbarism against the people of Palestine.
Additionally, 30 acts, including bands, individual artists, companies, and panel members, canceled their performances or attendance at Sydney Festival 2022 that kicked off in Australia last month.
