Maariv newspaper revealed on Monday that the Israeli air defense systems failed to intercept the rocket launched by al-Qassam Brigades targeting Tel Aviv, confirming that it hit and exploded in the city.

The Resistance group announced that it had targeted Tel Aviv on Sunday with an M90 rocket in response to the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

In Gaza, al-Qassam Brigades announced on Monday conducting two consecutive operations targeting an Israeli force and its reinforcements unit in Khan Younis.

In the al-Qarara area, northeast of Khan Yunis, the Resistance group said it targeted an Israeli force taking cover in a house with a TBG anti-fortification shell and another anti-personnel shell.

In the second operation, al-Qassam fighters detonated a pre-rigged tunnel under an Israeli force of five soldiers that had advanced to the location, killing and wounding its members.

Meanwhile, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, launched 60mm artillery shells and rocket barrages, targeting Israeli forces gathered east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip and the village of al-Masdar.

Immediately after the group's operation, the occupation forces began shelling nearby areas and deployed smoke to cover the evacuation of their wounded soldiers.

The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, for their part, released two videos documenting their strikes on Israeli forces and military vehicles in the Netzarim corridor using two 107 rockets and heavy mortar shells. They also showcased their shelling of IOF in eastern Deir al-Balah and the eastern Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Israelis mount losses in forces

Israeli media reported that six funerals were held on Sunday for Israeli soldiers who were killed in ongoing battles with Palestinian Resistance groups in the Gaza Strip and strikes by Hezbollah in the north.

Israeli commenters expressed frustration with their leaders' political performance, criticizing them for focusing on attacking the military spokesperson while the number of killed soldiers and officers continues to rise.

The funerals were held for five soldiers who were killed in the Gaza Strip, and one was killed in the north while aboard a Dvora-class vessel near Nahariya after being struck by a projectile during Hezbollah's response to the assassination of its senior commander Sayyed Fouad Shokur.

The Israeli occupation army has announced earlier that two major generals and a lieutenant colonel were killed in central Gaza on Saturday.

The latest deaths raise the Israeli losses during launching its invasion of Gaza in late October to 338, while 696 have been killed in total since October 7, according to Israeli claims.

The Israeli occupation army confirmed the death of a reserve sergeant in central Gaza, killed by a roadside bomb targeting a group of soldiers. Another reserve soldier was critically injured in the same incident.

Additionally, IOF reports that 4,387 soldiers have been injured since the conflict began, with 652 sustaining serious injuries. Since the onset of the ground attack on Gaza, 2,254 soldiers and officers have been injured, including 424 with severe injuries.

Despite strict censorship and secrecy surrounding their losses, Resistance groups in Gaza emphasize that the actual number of Israeli casualties is much higher than officially reported.
