The Palestinian Resistance continued to defend against the Israeli ground invasion and occupation of several axes in the Gaza Strip and launched rocket attacks on Israeli positions in the Gaza Envelope on Friday.

Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades utilized its locally produced Rajoum rocket artillery shells to target a number of Israeli positions within the Gaza Strip and outside it.

It fired the rockets at occupation forces in the Netzarim Axis, which splits the northern Gaza Strip from the rest of the besieged territory. It also targeted the Miftahim grouping with the 114 mm rockets and the Nirim military site to the northeast of Khan Younis.

Sirens sounded in the Nirim settlement at 3:29 pm (local time) on Friday and several rockets hit the area.

In eastern Rafah, the al-Mujahideen Brigades detonated an improvised barrel bomb into an Israeli M-113 armored personnel carrier (APC).

The Brigades revealed that two of its fighters were martyred in an Israeli drone strike as they planted the bomb on Thursday, however, another group of fighters was able to complete the mission. The two martyred fighters were field commander Bilal Hassan Hussein al-Aarjani and fighter Munir Talaat al-Najjar.

The Brigades also fired two locally-produced Haseb rockets at Israeli occupation forces to the east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Several other factions executed rocket and mortar attacks on Friday.

The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (DFLP) National Resistance Brigades launched a mortar attack on Israeli occupation forces advancing into the city of Rafah.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (PFLP) Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades fired a salvo of rockets toward occupation forces in the Netzarim Axis. It also launched a joint rocket attack with the al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, targeting the command and control rooms of Israeli occupation forces on the same axis.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades targeted the same command and control rooms utilizing large-caliber mortar shells.

Friday marked the 316th day of the Israeli war on Gaza where the Palestinian Resistance continues to carry out its attacks against occupation forces, despite an unprecendeted and destructive war on the besieged territory.
