DeeDee Washington, who lives near the shooting area, said she knew the young men who were murdered.
“I know one of the moms and he was just, you know she did everything to keep her boys out of trouble and, you know, they all graduated high school," Washington said. "They're not going to know that they were good kids. They're just going to play into the stereotype of what's going on in the neighborhood, but this is a great neighborhood and those were great boys.”
No further information was been provided by DC Police on the victims or potential suspects.
“I just hope that they get whoever did this and that they just stop all the chaos," Washington said. "It just doesn't make any sense, and that's just all over, it just doesn't make any sense."
"You know we have enough to deal with and senseless killings are one less thing that we need to be thinking about right now. We have a whole virus out here killing everybody,” DeeDee Washington, a local citizen said.
