Brazilian sources reported on Saturday that the death toll from a building collapse in Pernambuco in northeastern Brazil rose to eight, as emergency services are still working to find more bodies and survivors under the rubble.

Among the dead are two children, aged five and eight, and a 17-year-old teenager, the G1 news portal reported.
Another six people are reportedly still missing.
The building located in the Janga suburb collapsed in the early hours of Friday. Emergency services and volunteers are still working at the scene to recover bodies and find survivors.
