Three dead in building collapse in Alexandria, Egypt
While the exact number of people trapped under the debris is unknown, civil defense first responders are still continuing the search for more bodies and survivors.
Three people were found dead by rescue workers in Alexandria, Egypt after a 13-story building collapsed on Monday, Egyptian sources reported on Tuesday.
The first body was discovered on Monday, when the accident took place, whilst two more bodies were pulled from under the rubble on Tuesday, the Al-Masry Al-Youm daily newspaper reported.
While the exact number of people trapped under the debris is unknown, civil defense first responders are still continuing the search for more bodies and survivors.

The site of the tower is located in the Sidi Bishr district where holidaymakers frequently rent apartments on special occasions such as Eid el-Adha, which begins on Tuesday.
According to the deputy head of Alexandria's provincial health authority, about four people have been injured in the collapse so far. Several cars parked in the vicinity were also damaged.
An investigation has been launched by Egypt’s chief prosecutor, sources say, adding that a subcontractor responsible for building the high-rise has already been detained.
