Two separate shootings occurred at the annual summer carnival in the middle of the Dutch port city of Rotterdam, with one of the shootings injuring two persons and the gunman, according to Dutch media.

Later that day, another shooting spree occurred on the same street. Officers who heard the gunfire opened fire on the assailant. According to the story, in addition to the gunman and his victim, a woman passing by was hurt.
The condition of wounded victims remains unknown.
The Rotterdam police apprehended three persons as a result of the occurrences, according to the station.
