'Don't', Biden says to Iran on anticipated retaliation
"Israel" still awaits a retaliation from Iran after the occupation assassinated martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
US President Joe Biden reiterated his warning to Iran on Saturday about the anticipated retaliation attack on "Israel" when asked to send a message to the Middle Eastern country.
"Don't," Biden told reporters when asked about his message to Iran after Tehran vowed a "harsh punishment" to the occupation amid rising tensions in the Middle East sparked by "Israel's" targeted assassinations in neighboring countries.
Biden issued a similar warning to Iran in April before Tehran launched rockets and drones toward "Israel" after the occupation struck the Iranian consulate in Syria, killing two top generals from Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) alongside five other members.
Targeted Israeli assassinations in Tehran and Beirut
A potential war looms over the Middle East due to the Israeli regime's ongoing assault on both Gaza and its neighboring countries, ultimately conducting cross-border operations to carry out assassinations in major capital cities.
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, was martyred in his home in Tehran by an Israeli bomb on July 31.
"Israel" is experiencing tense days due to the anticipated Iranian response, indicated the former Chief of Operations for the Israeli military, retired Major General Israel Ziv.
Iranian officials have made it clear that Tehran's response to the Israeli assassination of Haniyeh, which was carried out on Iranian soil, is inevitable.
On the evening of July 30, an Israeli drone struck Lebanon's southern suburbs of Beirut, resulting in the martyrdom of senior Hezbollah commander Fouad Shokor.
The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed on August 1 that the Israeli attack on Hareit Hreik was an aggression targeting civilian buildings and killing civilians, not just an assassination operation.
The aggression resulted in the martyrdom of five civilians, three women, and two children, in addition to Iranian military advisor Milad Bidi.
Regarding the martyrdom of Haniyeh, Sayyed Nasrallah questioned, "Do they imagine they can kill leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Iran will remain silent?" emphasizing that "Israel" has crossed major red lines.
