US President Donald Trump's Turnberry golf resort in Scotland has been branded with pro-Palestinian phrases, with Palestine Action claiming responsibility.
Local media reported Saturday that red paint had been smeared over the course's walls with the phrases "Free Gaza" and "Free Palestine", as well as insults hurled at Trump.
"Gaza is not for sale" was also sprawled on one of the lawns on the golf course.
Claiming responsibility for the damage, the group wrote on X: "Whilst Trump attempts to treat Gaza as his property, he should know his own property is within reach."
Last month, Trump angered millions by abruptly and brazenly announcing that the US would take over Gaza, resettle its over 2 million Palestinian residents, and transform it into the "Riviera of the Middle East."

Trump’s 'You Are DEAD' threat to Gaza 'genocidal': The Intercept
The Intercept highlighted how US President Donald Trump’s latest threats against the population of Gaza may be "genocidal".
In a post on Truth Social, Trump demanded, "Release all of the hostages now … or it is OVER for you." His threats escalated from Hamas to the people of Gaza. "Also, to the people of Gaza: A beautiful future awaits," Trump wrote, adding, "But not if you hold hostages. If you do, you are DEAD!"
Trump has made similar statements in the past, including a promise before his presidency that "all hell will break out" if Israeli captives were not released. However, his latest remarks are notable for targeting Gaza’s broader population, a region already devastated by conflict, where over 48,000 people have been killed, with thousands more buried under rubble.
Khaled Elgindy, a Georgetown University scholar, condemned Trump’s language as "genocidal rhetoric," stating, "He’s threatening an entire population with death — what else is that other than genocidal?"
