'I am dying little by little', Israeli captive says in new Hamas video
An Israeli captive addresses Netanyahu, accusing him of failing prisoners held in Gaza, in a new video published by Hamas.
The Military Media of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, released a video showing an Israeli captive held in Gaza, addressing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in yet another message demanding the establishment of an immediate captive agreement.
Matan Zangauker has been held in Gaza for 420 days, grappling with the deteriorating situation and a worsening health state, fearing for his and his friends' lives, as "Israel" continues its ceaseless onslaught on the Strip.
In the video, Zangauker addresses Netanyahu directly, accusing him of failing the captives and making mistakes, the price for which is being paid by the captives.
"I am dying little by little, and every part of me dies... We live with little food, and undrinkable water, and little medicine," he said, further expanding on their deteriorating health state as a result of poor hygiene, or the lack thereof, which has caused skin diseases and irritation.
He also rallied Israeli settlers against Netanyahu, accusing him and the government of neglecting captives and jeopardizing their lives, as well as calling for demonstrations. According to the captive, "It is more appropriate for him [Netanyahu] and his family to suffer like us."
Israeli media reported that Hamas' release of the video comes after "Israel's" intention to strike a partial deal that leaves some captives, including soldiers, behind.

Hamas: Israeli approach killed captives, ceasefire demands unchanged
Earlier this week, Hamas announced that 33 Israeli captives held by the Palestinian resistance have been killed, with some reportedly disappearing. Hamas attributed the deaths to the actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and what it described as his "fascist army."
Hamas issued a warning to "Israel", stating, "By continuing your reckless war, you may lose your prisoners forever," and added, "Do what you must before it’s too late."
The movement included a video clip with its message, detailing the Israeli attacks that led to the killing and disappearance of Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
An Israeli occupation military investigation has hinted at the potential responsibility of its forces for the killing of six Palestinian prisoners in an airstrike on a site in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
Hamas emphasized that the Israeli occupation military's acknowledgment of its responsibility for the deaths of six captives confirms the accuracy of the Palestinian Resistance's account of events and exposes the Israeli occupation's narrative as false, holding it accountable for the consequences that unfolded.
The movement pointed out that the killing of more Israeli captives by the Israeli occupation forces further proves the failure of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s theory of freeing captives through force, emphasizing that military pressure does not free captives, it only kills them.
Hamas held Netanyahu directly responsible for the deaths of dozens of captives due to his failure to reach a deal and reiterated that "the only solution was to end the aggression, withdraw the Israeli occupation forces, and proceed with a prisoner exchange deal."
