The Israeli occupation army intensified its invasion of Syrian territory today, sending yet another armed convoy from Tal Al-Ahmar Al-Gharbi toward Al-Asha village in Quneitra's southern countryside.
Syrian media reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted the Tadmur Military Airport and the T-4 Airbase in the Homs countryside, central Syria. Meanwhile, Israeli media claimed the strikes hit three military sites in the Tadmur desert, also located in the Homs region.
A few days earlier, the Israeli Air Force launched several airstrikes on military bases west of Daraa, resulting in the martyrdom of two civilians and injuries to 19 others.

The attacks represent an intensification of "Israel's" presence in southern Syria since December 2024, when Syria's former regime fell. Israeli forces have seized approximately 600 square kilometers of territory, including strategic positions on the slopes of Mount Hermon that provide fire control over Daraa, Quneitra, and the Damascus countryside. Recent weeks have seen the bulldozing of the Abu Darwish post and the establishment of new military outposts, including the seizure of the al-Hiran military position during a March 19 incursion involving some fifty military vehicles.
The Syrian Interim Government continues to maintain that Syria poses no threat to "Israel", while Damascus condemns the operations as violations of sovereignty. Meanwhile, humanitarian monitors report growing civilian displacement in the Quneitra countryside and document at least nineteen civilian deaths in occupied zones since the beginning of the year.
