The Dutch defense attaché says the Israeli army is attempting to minimize its losses by demonstrating "credible military force to show Iran and its proxies [such as Hezbollah] that they will stop at nothing."

According to a classified cable from the Dutch Embassy in "Tel Aviv", "Israel" is purposefully employing "disproportionate force" in Gaza and attacking "civilian infrastructure" in an attempt to contain its own casualties and demonstrate its "military force".

The document, which was written by the Dutch defense attaché stationed in the embassy and obtained by the Dutch news agency NRC, examines "Israel's" military tactics in Gaza.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the health crisis in the Gaza Strip has reached "catastrophic proportions", stressing that medical teams are facing depletion and exhaustion with the Israeli aggression and total blockade tightening for 39 consecutive days,

According to the NRC, the defense attaché stated that the Israeli army is attempting to minimize its own losses by demonstrating "credible military force to show Iran and its proxies [such as Hezbollah] that they will stop at nothing."

Their objective is the "massive destruction to the infrastructure and civilian centers” while intentionally targeting homes, bridges, and roads, leading to an extremely high number of deaths.

According to the memo, the occupation's tactics are a violation of international laws of war and may cause an escalation in the region.

The defense attaché of the embassy also stated in a letter that "Israel" is attempting to totally eradicate Hamas, a "military goal that is virtually impossible to achieve," citing that the occupation is completely driven by "emotion and anger."

Additionally, the note accuses the Dutch government of knowing of "Israel's ruthless approach" but remaining silent. Although Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was informed last week by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte that "Israel" “must show that what they are doing is also proportionate,” Rutte has not made a formal plea for a ceasefire.

According to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “not every internal document should be viewed as a policy recommendation.”

In an emailed statement, the Ministry explained that “we do not comment on the wide variety of documents that are drafted at the ministry or at the diplomatic missions as part of the policy-making process."

It also added that it was "highly concerned" regarding the "severity and scale" of the war on Gaza, noting that “further civilian casualties on both sides must be avoided.”

Hezbollah drones reaching Haifa daily: Sayyed Nasrallah

During a ceremony commemorating Martyr's Day on Saturday, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stated that the aggression on Gaza which is carried out by the Israeli occupation is a dangerous, exceptional development; these crimes reflect the brutality of the Israeli occupation.

Sayyed Nasrallah underlined that "the goal of the Israeli occupation's crimes is to push the people to give up and forget about their land, prisoners, sanctities, and the whole of Palestine."

He also affirmed that the Israeli occupation, through its aggression and crimes in Gaza, including the brutal and deliberate killing of civilians, is "sending a message to Lebanon."

However, Sayyed Nasrallah explained that "Israel" was making yet another mistake and has not yet learned from its past. "It will not achieve its goal; the massacres it has committed throughout history, including Deir Yassin, bear testament to its failure," he further added.

"The operations of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon going deeper into the occupied territories have increased," he added. Meanwhile, Israeli media acknowledged that more than 1405 Israeli wounded, including critical injuries, have been taken to hospitals in the north from October 8 till November 12.
