IOF didn't find any Hamas tunnels under Al-Shifa Hospital: CNN
The IOF stormed Al-Shifa Hospital under the pretext of looking for an underground command and control center for Hamas, then leaving with nothing.
In the latest Israeli attempt to justify their crimes, Israeli soldiers claimed they found Hamas' military equipment during a raid in Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City. Israeli forces raided Al-Shifa in the early hours of Wednesday, under the pretext of an alleged underground command and control center for Hamas.
After extracting no evidence to confirm their claims, the Israeli Occupation Forces said the military raid into the hospital “is still underway and will take time."
In a statement, the Israel Occupation Forces said soldiers located a room in the hospital where they found, “technological assets, along with military and combat equipment used by Hamas.” “In another department in the hospital, the soldiers located an operational command center and technological assets belonging to Hamas,” the statement went on, which indicated, the statement said, “that the terrorist organization uses the hospital for terrorist purposes."
Earlier in the day, a senior Israeli security official said troops had uncovered “concrete evidence that Hamas terrorists used the Shifa hospital as a terror headquarters,” with no evidence to present. After its claims, "Israel" has become under immense pressure to prove its claims about "Hamas's infiltration of the hospital", to justify some of its military decisions — which could otherwise constitute a possible serious violation of international humanitarian law.
On that note, Hamas considered earlier comments from the Israeli army – that troops had found weapons inside the hospital – as a blatant lie and propaganda.
Earlier today, Israeli media pointed out that the extensive Israeli propaganda following the Israeli occupation forces' incursion of the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza was a disappointment for Israeli settlers who believed that "Israel" would eliminate the Hamas movement during the assault.
The media indicated that the leadership of Hamas remains cohesive even after the incursion of al-Shifa, and its fighters continue to launch rockets toward "Tel Aviv" and Gaza Envelope settlements.
It mentioned that Israeli occupation forces reached al-Shifa but the goal of the operation was not achieved, as the Israeli forces failed to capture Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya al-Sinwar, and Commander-in-Chief of al-Qassam Brigades Mohammad Deif.
It added mockingly that the Israeli occupation military announced that it had killed a Hamas official who is unknown to any Israeli.
Yair Cherki, the religion reporter for the Israeli Channel 12, said: "I hear about the widespread disappointment in Israel not only from those sitting at home but also from the soldiers who returned from Gaza, who spent about two weeks there."
"There is great disappointment regarding Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip," Cherki highlighted.
IOF target anyone trying to leave Al-Shifa Hospital
Earlier on Wednesday, the government Media Office in Gaza announced that more than 30 unarmed Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Al-Shifa Hospital, as they opened fire on families who tried to leave the hospital.
The Office stressed that the occupation's aggression and assault on Al-Shifa Medical Complex, its departments, and everyone in it, including patients, displaced Palestinians, and the medical staff, amounts to yet another war crime committed by the Israeli occupation.
It is also important to underline that while Al-Shifa was getting invaded, the occupation also cut off all communications from the hospital. The communication blackout started at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, according to what was reported by Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.
The IOF have converted Al-Shifa Hospital into a military barracks, handcuffing a large number of its attending doctors and indiscriminately opening fire throughout the health facility as they storm patient wards without constraints Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported earlier in the day.
