A senior official in the Israeli security administration claimed that the intensive phase of military operations in Gaza has ended and the regime has proceeded to the third stage of the war, as quoted by Israeli broadcaster Channel 14.
According to the military correspondent Hillel Bitton Rosen, there is currently "no official statement from any political or military source regarding this matter."
Rosen clarified that the transition to the third phase means conducting "focused and precise incursions based on intelligence needs, conducting shorter maneuvers, and the army units staying for shorter periods."
This phase "could last for months, or even years," they added.

This announcement comes against the backdrop of the war in Rafah after Israeli forces destroyed much of Gaza's infrastructure and killed nearly 40,000 civilians in Gaza.
Israeli forces claimed they were launching a war against Hamas, but this sudden withdrawal without the necessity of a ceasefire agreement or prisoner swap deal implies that their motives were precisely to cause maximum damage to the civilian population.
Since the start of the war, the Israeli side has been obstinate in reaching an agreement, and many of the captives who have died in the past nine months were killed as a result of "Israel's" indiscriminate bombardment of Gaza.
The Israeli blockade of the Strip has further exacerbated this human catastrophe.

Meanwhile, the situation at the Lebanon border remains contentious as both sides continue to exchange fire.
On July 10, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said that the goals of exhausting the enemy's economy, manpower, and social fabric are being met, which will eventually force the Israeli occupation to halt its aggression on Gaza.
Earlier today, Israeli occupation Knesset Member and former Security Minister Avigdor Lieberman warned that the entity might "cease to exist" in two years due to the current situation.
