The Government Media Office in Gaza stressed that the Israeli targeting of civilians as they arrived at Kuwait roundabout to obtain flour is "a deliberate attempt to exacerbate the famine."

Gaza's Health Ministry on Sunday reported that the Israeli occupation forces committed another massacre at the Kuwaiti roundabout in Deir al-Balah against civilians waiting for an aid convoy containing flour to arrive, claiming dozens of martyrs and wounded.

In a statement, the Media Office held the US administration, the Israeli occupation, and the international community fully responsible for the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.

The statement called for an end to the genocidal war and the entry of 1000 trucks of aid to all areas, especially to the northern Gaza Strip.

On his part, the spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza described the conditions for obtaining limited aid as "humiliating".

On Sunday, members of the United Nations Security Council called for refraining from depriving the civilian population in the Gaza Strip of essential services and humanitarian aid, which are indispensable for their survival, in accordance with international humanitarian law.

They also expressed grave concern about estimates that all of Gaza's 2.2 million inhabitants will face alarming levels of acute food insecurity.

The members urged the Israeli occupation government to keep border crossings open for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, facilitate the opening of additional crossings to meet humanitarian needs on a wide scale, and support the rapid and secure delivery of relief materials to people throughout the Gaza Strip.
