'Israel' failed in Gaza, will do so in West Bank: Al-Quds Brigades
The Israeli occupation's failures in Gaza will continue to haunt it as the Resistance in the occupied West Bank reminds it that it will meet the same fate, said Al-Quds Brigades.
The commander of the al-Quds Brigades in the West Bank stated today, Wednesday, that "since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Jenin, our heroes have continued to trap Israeli forces and military vehicles in ambushes."
He emphasized, "What we will reveal at the end of this battle will prove that the image of victory, which the enemy failed to achieve in Gaza, will not be realized in the West Bank."
The commander disclosed that "in recent days, we succeeded in deploying certain ground and guided explosive devices," noting that "the detonation of military jeeps in Qabatiya and Tubas was merely a message of what awaits the occupation’s leaders and soldiers in the streets and alleys of West Bank camps."
He added, "Our fighters have established operations rooms to coordinate field efforts and enhance joint action alongside fighters from the Qassam Brigades and the Youth of Revenge and Liberation. The Qalqilya hotel operation sent a clear message to both our adversaries and allies that our reach extends everywhere."
He also criticized the complicity of the Palestinian Authority security forces, accusing them of "collaborating with the occupation forces in storming towns, besieging our injured fighters in villages, towns, medical centers, and hospitals, and attempting to arrest them to ease the task for the occupation." He stressed that such actions "only tarnish their image in the face of our people's sacrifices."
In a message to the Palestinian people, the commander assured, "Our fighters are in good condition and in high spirits. The army that failed to claim victory over Gaza's fighters will not succeed in the West Bank. The cities and camp alleys of the West Bank will only yield coffins for the occupation's leaders and soldiers."
On Tuesday, the Israeli military announced the launch of a military operation in Jenin, naming it "Operation Iron Wall."
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the death toll in Jenin province has risen to 10, including a child, with 40 injured during the ongoing Israeli aggression on the city and its refugee camp.
Jenin confrontations mount
Palestinian Resistance forces in Jenin continue to confront Israeli occupation forces amid an unprecedented military assault on the city and its refugee camp. The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Jenin reported that their fighters are engaging in intense armed clashes with the Israeli forces, employing heavy gunfire and explosive devices.
Field reports indicate that a Palestinian explosive device targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier in Jenin, leading to injuries among the soldiers. An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the Israeli military is working to evacuate its wounded from the site of the explosion.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday evening that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression in Jenin has risen to nine, with approximately 40 others injured.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams transported one martyr from the Harat al-Damaj neighborhood in Jenin camp, alongside another individual wounded by live fire.
Among the martyrs of the Israeli operation identified by medical sources are Motaz Abu Tabeekh, Raed Abu Saba, Ahmed Shayeb, Ameen Zawayda Salahat, Khalil al-Saadi, and Abdul Wahhab al-Saadi.
Israeli escalations in Jenin
Israeli forces have escalated their assault on Jenin, including surrounding a house in the village of Ta’anak, northwest of the city, and conducting aerial bombardments on the Harat al-Safouri neighborhood in the camp. Reports suggest that the Israeli occupation forces deployed additional reinforcements to Jenin, with bulldozers destroying infrastructure and roads across the city.
The Israeli military has announced the start of a new military campaign in the West Bank city of Jenin, which it dubbed the "Iron Wall".
Israeli media reported that the campaign was executed by order of the political echelon, following a Cabinet meeting last Friday, which added the West Bank to the goals of the ongoing war.
Israeli Security Minister Israel Katz said the military operation in Jenin was "prepared to protect settlers and settlement outposts in the area," while an Israeli security source told Israeli media that "the operation in Jenin will be unprecedented in its size and scope."
Israeli media further noted that the Israeli military, Shin Bet, and "Border Guards" began an operation meant to "foil terrorism" in Jenin, which will continue for the coming days, asserting that a large IOF force has advanced on Jenin from all directions after the Shin Bet disrupted internet communications throughout the Jenin Refugee Camp.
