The military spokesperson of the Hamas Resistance movement, Abu Obeida, affirmed on Saturday that the Israeli occupation's massacre in the Nuseirat refugee camp was a "complex war crime that harmed its captives first."

In a statement, Abu Obeida revealed that "The enemy was able to retrieve some of the captives by committing a horrifying massacre, but killed a few others in the process."

He stressed that the operation "will pose a grave danger to the enemy's captives, and will negatively impact their circumstances and lives."

Earlier today, the Hamas Resistance movement affirmed that the Israeli occupation army's announcement of the retrieval of several captives, after eight months of aggression in which it used all military, technological, and security means, and committed all kinds of crimes, from massacres to genocide, starvation, and siege, "will not change its strategic failure in the Gaza Strip".

In a statement, Hamas highlighted that it was still holding a large number of captives, noting that it could increase its yield of captives, just like it did during the latest operation in the Jabalia refugee camp in late May.

210 killed, at least 400 injured

This came after Israeli occupation forces said they retrieved four live captives from the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.

Reportedly, Resistance fighters guarding the captives had clashed with an Israeli force invading the camp, which led to the death of an occupation officer from the Yamam unit.

Moreover, a US official told Axios that the US hostage cell in "Israel" had backed the efforts to retrieve the four captives.

According to Gaza's government media office, Israeli raids on the major Gaza Refugee camp killed at least 210 Palestinians on Saturday.

In a statement, the office stated "The number of victims from the Israeli occupation's massacre in the Nuseirat camp has risen to 210 martyrs and more than 400 wounded."
