The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported that 48 people were killed and 142 others were injured across the Gaza Strip in 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli aggression. Hospitals continue to receive victims as airstrikes and shelling persist in multiple areas.

A significant number of casualties remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams due to intense bombardment and access restrictions.

Since the start of the Israeli genocide in Gaza on October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached 52,615, with 118,752 injured. In just the most recent phase, since March 18, 2025, Gaza has recorded 2,507 martyrs and 6,711 injuries.

Latest attacks on Gaza neighborhoods

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli drone strike on Qizan Rashwan, southwest of Khan Younis, killed one Palestinian and wounded several others. Concurrently, Israeli artillery targeted Qizan al-Najjar, deepening the devastation in the southern region.

Concurrently, Israeli artillery bombarded Al-Sikka Street in the al-Zaytun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, causing several injuries, as per our correspondent. The area remains under ongoing threat from repeated shelling.

In Beit Lahia, a strike on al-Salateen killed one Palestinian and left multiple others injured. Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital announced that two Palestinians were injured when invading Israeli units shelled fishermen along the Beit Lahia coast.

A child was also injured in an Israeli strike on a civilian gathering in al-Atatra. In the al-Tuffah’s al-Shaaf area, an Israeli drone attack killed another civilian.

Strikes on Nuseirat, central Gaza

In central Gaza, Al-Awda Hospital reported receiving two martyrs, including a woman, following an Israeli strike on a residential house near Al-Suwariha School in Nuseirat. Additional shelling occurred north of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

In the Khan Younis refugee camp, Israeli forces bombed an apartment, resulting in further martyrs and injuries. Meanwhile, two Palestinians were killed in al-Shujaiya, east of Gaza City, when warplanes struck a civilian group.

The Israeli occupation army continues its campaign against residential areas, demolishing buildings east of Gaza City, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.

Gaza hospitals on brink of collapse within 48 hours

Meanwhile, the Government Media Office in Gaza announced that the Gaza hospitals are on the brink of collapse within 48 hours due to the ongoing blockade.

The office condemned "in the strongest terms" the Israeli crime of preventing fuel from reaching hospitals and called on international humanitarian and medical organizations to take action to prevent the collapse of the healthcare system in the Strip.

UNRWA denounces Israeli blockade on Gaza

In a post published on X, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) strongly denounced the ongoing siege on Gaza, describing the situation as a deepening humanitarian catastrophe.

🚨 Over two months of siege

🚨 Air strikes, tank fire, and heavy shelling across #Gaza

🚨 People are being collectively punished

🚨 The State of Israel must lift the siege

The agency emphasized that, after more than two months of relentless airstrikes, tank fire, and heavy shelling across the Gaza Strip, the population is being collectively punished.

“I came to get the flour from under the shelling and the bombing, just so I could feed myself and my children… But it’s all scattered on the ground,” describes Insherah from Jabalia, #Gaza.

The situation is desperate as people scramble to find something to eat.

In yet another post on X, UNRWA shared the story of Insherah, a resident of Jabalia, who described the desperate conditions her family faces after weeks under Israeli siege.

“I came to get the flour from under the shelling and the bombing, just so I could feed myself and my children… But it’s all scattered on the ground,” she said, recounting her attempt to retrieve food from the ruins of her destroyed home.

After being forcibly displaced, Insherah had left a bag of flour behind; upon returning, she found her house demolished and the food ruined.

This account is one of many that underscore the severity of the situation, as families in Gaza continue to sift through rubble in search of basic sustenance.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has reiterated its urgent demand for immediate humanitarian access to the Gaza Strip, stressing that essential supplies, including food and medicine, must be allowed in without delay.

With the siege now in its third month, UNRWA warns that continued restrictions will only deepen the suffering of civilians already facing starvation and displacement.
