'Israel' launches series of airstrikes on Lebanese-Syrian border towns
Lebanese media report that the Israeli aggression resulted in no injuries among citizens and only material losses were recorded.
Israeli war jets launched a series of airstrikes on Friday evening targeting towns on the Lebanese Syrian borders.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported an Israeli aggression on the outskirts of the town of Hosh al-Sayyid Ali in Bekaa and the countryside of al-Qusayr. This came shortly after after a similar airstrike also targeting the Hosh al-Sayyid Ali area. Border villages of Zaita and Matraba were also targeted.
Lebanese media reported that there were no injuries resulting from the attacks, noting that the damage was limited to material losses.

Coming response
The Israeli attacks come Iran and the Resistance Axis are expected to soon carry out a response to recent assassinations of Resistance leaders and the aggression on Yemen.
Hamas' Politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran on Wednesday while on an official visit. Less than 12 hours later, "Israel" assassinated a Hezbollah top military leader, Sayyed Mohsen Shokor, in an airstrike on Beirut, which also resulted in the martyrdom of Iranian military advisor Milad Bidi and five civilians - three women and two children. The Israeli regime also conducted an airstrike on Yemen's Ras Kathib power station located in the Hodeidah port, leading to the martyrdom of six civil servants.
Pentagon said on Friday that US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered the deployment of additional naval warships, fighter jets, and anti-ballistic missile defense systems in the Middle East in anticipation of the Iranian and Resistance Axis response to the recent Israeli assassinations and aggressions.
