'Israel' mounts violations, targets S. Lebanon with artillery, drones
"Israel" has unrelentingly violated the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon since it was reached in November of 2024, launching airstrikes, drone strikes, and ground incursions on a near-daily basis.

Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that Israeli occupation artillery targeted on Sunday the Hermon Hill located on the outskirts of the town of Yaroun in southern Lebanon, as part of ongoing assaults on the country.
Our correspondent in the south also reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the area between the towns of Beit Lif and Ramia.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health also announced that a Syrian national was injured in an Israeli drone strike on the town of Meidoun in the Nabatieh district.
Yesterday, a number of Lebanese army soldiers were martyred and others were injured on Saturday when unexploded ordnance from a previous Israeli attack detonated on the outskirts of Majdal Zoun in South Lebanon, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported.
Shortly after the blast, Israeli occupation forces fired bursts of machine gun fire from the Radar military site toward the outskirts of Shebaa, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the south.
The escalation comes amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon. The Lebanese Health Ministry announced Friday that six people were killed and ten wounded in an initial toll from an Israeli strike on the Masnaa road in eastern Lebanon. Another civilian was killed in a separate Israeli air raid on the town of Kafr Dan in the Baalbek district.
Also on Friday, a Lebanese citizen was killed in an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle moving on the Ansariyeh road, along the Zahrani-Tyre highway, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in South Lebanon reported.
