The Palestinian Resistance remains steadfast in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood for the ninth month since its start, incurring heavy losses in Israeli ranks, throughout the fierce confrontations it undertakes on several combat axes across Gaza.

The Israeli occupation forces, thus, revealed the death of a colonel in the engineering corps during the battles in the southern Gaza Strip, which raised the death toll in its ranks since October 7 to 680 officers and soldiers, admitted by "Israel".

Under the "permitted to publish" clause, the Israeli forces admitted that a company commander in the 601st Engineering Corps Battalion was killed during confrontations in the southern Gaza Strip.

With the death of the colonel, the number of killed occupation soldiers in the battles of the Gaza Strip has risen to 680 since October 7, 2023.

In a separate statement, the occupation army revealed that another soldier was wounded in a rocket attack launched by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - toward al-Jalil, in the occupied north.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army Radio said at least three individuals were wounded, including an Israeli soldier and an American citizen, by anti-tank missiles launched by Hezbollah toward Zar'it.
