On day 275 of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza on Sunday reached 38,153, in addition to 87,828 injuries, according to the daily report published by the Health Ministry in Gaza.

"Israel" committed three massacres in 24 hours, killing 55 Palestinians and injuring 123 others.

While some were transported to partially functioning hospitals, many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble with rescue crews unable to reach them.

Others remain either injured or lie there as lifeless bodies dispersed on the streets as rescue crews are also prohibited from attending to them or transporting them.

A renewed series of sporadic attacks were carried out by the Israeli occupation on the 275th day of its ongoing aggression on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

Five journalists were among those killed in the occupation's recent attacks in Gaza City and al-Nusairat camp within 12 hours on Saturday.

Israeli occupation forces committed on Saturday a new massacre in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip, targeting a school belonging to the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) that was sheltering displaced people, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed.

The Gaza Government Media Office announced that this is the 43rd massacre that the Israeli occupation forces committed in the Nuseirat camp, which resulted in the killing of 16 Palestinians and the injury of 75 others, who were transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

The Media Office mentioned that the Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the al-Jaouni school on Saturday afternoon, highlighting that the school was sheltering around 7,000 displaced people.

In a statement, the Media Office condemned the latest Israeli massacre, recalling that the Israeli occupation has bombed more than 17 schools and displacement centers in the Nuseirat refugee camp since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza.

It called on the international community and all UN and international organizations to put pressure on the occupation to stop the genocide and halt the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.

An exacerbated catastrophe

Touching on the humanitarian crisis in the central region of the Gaza Strip, the statement confirmed that only two hospitals are operational there, yet they are unable to provide health and medical services due to severe overcrowding and the numerous injuries they have received over the past months.

Elsewhere, the Office stressed that major challenges face humanitarian and health work in the Nuseirat refugee camp and Gaza's central governorate due to the ongoing genocide.

On its part, Hamas affirmed that the repeated and systematic targeting of UNRWA schools and displacement centers, as well as the perpetration of massacres, represents the Israeli occupation government's insistence on defying all laws put in place to protect civilians.

In a statement, the movement called on the international community and the United Nations and its institutions to take immediate action to stop these violations and ongoing war crimes and to implement effective measures to halt the Israeli killing machine against the Palestinian people.
