"Israel" indicated that its list of military targets within Iran may be completed in the coming days, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing Israeli officials.
Despite this, the situation remains fluid and largely contingent on Iran's retaliation to the US aggression against its key nuclear facilities.
Arab officials cited by WSJ confirmed that the US has conveyed to regional parties that "Israel" is seeking a swift end to attacks.
Such reports were also conveyed by Israeli Channel 12 and Israeli Kan 11 public broadcaster.
Washington has requested that these messages be relayed to Tehran. However, Iran has reportedly signaled it is not yet ready to de-escalate, feeling compelled to respond to the US aggression.
'Israel' capitalizing on US strikes
The report indicated that after US strikes against Iran's most critical nuclear facilities, a move that has brought "Israel" closer to its long-term goal of neutralizing Iran's nuclear capabilities, Israeli officials now hope this pressure will lead Iran to negotiate the cessation of its nuclear enrichment program.
According to Israeli sources, while diplomatic efforts are ongoing, "Israel" maintains readiness to conduct further airstrikes should Iran attempt to rebuild its nuclear infrastructure.
