Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Saturday night that the United States’ military strike on three Iranian nuclear sites was carried out in full coordination with "Israel," calling the operation a necessary response to what he described as an existential threat.
Trump stated that a "full payload of bombs" was dropped on Fordow, the primary target, and confirmed that all US aircraft involved in the operation have exited Iranian airspace and are "safely on their way home."
"Congratulations to our great American Warriors," Trump wrote, adding, "There is not another military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!"
Speaking from Tel Aviv shortly after President Donald Trump’s address to the American public, Netanyahu claimed Iran’s nuclear ambitions were dangerous to world peace.
“From the very beginning of this operation, I promised that Iran’s nuclear facilities would be destroyed—one way or another. That promise has now been kept,” Netanyahu said in a video message.
The Israeli prime minister added that immediately after the operation concluded, President Trump personally called him to confirm the mission’s success and reinforce the ongoing strategic alliance between the two countries.
“Immediately after the operation was completed, President Trump called me. It was a warm and deeply moving conversation,” Netanyahu said, praising Trump as “a strong leader of the free world” and “a great friend of Israel—like no other.”
He confirmed that the US strikes, which targeted Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, were carried out in full coordination between himself and President Donald Trump, as well as between the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and the US military.
Netanyahu emphasized that the US had intensified efforts originally led by the Israeli Air Force and Mossad to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, which he described as a direct threat to "Israel’s" survival and global security.
Future attacks on Iran could be 'far greater': Trump
During his address to the US, Trump hailed the attack that targeted three Iranian nuclear sites as a “spectacular military success,” speaking from the White House Cross Hall.
“Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump declared.
Trump warned that the US could launch additional strikes if Iran did not pursue peace, calling the country the "bully of the Middle East," claiming, "If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier."
“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” Trump declared, emphasizing a preference for a diplomatic solution but making clear the consequences of continued escalation.
“This cannot continue,” he said. "There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember, there are many targets left.”
He claimed the US could strike again “with precision, speed, and skill,” adding that such operations could be executed “in a matter of minutes.”
