'Israel' targets paramedics in continued aggression on Lebanon
Two paramedics have been killed, while others were martyred and wounded across the villages and cities of South Lebanon, as 'Israel' intensifies its strikes against civilians.
The Israeli occupation continues its widespread aggression across Lebanon, as its warplanes and artillery strike its villages and towns, from Tyre to Nabatieh, to Kfar Kila, Maaraka, al-Mansouri, al-Bazouriyeh, and the vicinity of the Khiam detention center.
Illegal cluster bombs were dropped on the course of the Litani River, while illegal white phosphorus bombs were used in the village of Chamaa, the outskirts of Zibqeen and Ain al-Zarqa, located between Alma al-Shaab and Tayr Harfa, according to the National News Agency (NNA).
The Lebanese Health Ministry announced that two paramedics were martyred in a targeted attack on an assembly site of the Islamic Health Authority in Qana, South Lebanon.
NNA also reported that Sheikh Samer Sheghri and another person were killed in the Israeli attack on Tyre's water facility, with many others injured.
In turn, the Lebanese Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross reported that medical teams were able to enter the town of Baraashit in the Bint Jbeil district and retrieve the bodies of six martyrs from the Islamic Health Authority, who were killed after their center was hit by an Israeli airstrike late last night.
A total of 26 Lebanese were martyred and others were injured after Israeli airstrikes targeted towns and villages in the districts of Tyre and Nabatieh in southern Lebanon on Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health. The Israeli occupation carried out about 14 airstrikes on residential areas, commercial centers, and neighborhoods in southern Lebanon.
Yesterday, the Israeli occupation carried out two airstrikes on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, targeting a building and a car in the Mar Elias area, in the heart of the city. This followed an earlier strike on the Ras al-Nabaa area, where Hezbollah's media relations chief, Mohammad Afif, was assassinated.
