Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Saturday that Israeli occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes targeting several towns in the region. The raid on the town of Tulin in the Marjeyoun district resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and injuries to several others, while Israeli warplanes flew intensively over the area.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health’s Emergency Operations Center stated that two citizens were injured in the border town of Kfar Kila due to Israeli shelling.
Our correspondent also noted Israeli raids on the outskirts of Rashaya al-Fukhar, al-Khiam, and the area between Yatar and Beit Lif. Despite earlier shelling, a cautious calm prevailed in the targeted areas, with al-Khiam's outskirts continuing to be subjected to Israeli artillery.
Other Israeli raids struck the Iqlim al-Tuffah Heights, with two raids reported, as well as another on Jabal al-Rayhan.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Army reported seizing three primitive missile launchers in the area north of the Litani River, between Kfar Tibnit and Arnoun, in the Nabatieh Governorate.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent also reported Israeli artillery shelling on the outskirts of Yahmor al-Shaqif in the Nabatieh Governorate, and the occupation army conducted combing operations toward the towns of Houla and Markaba, firing a shell at Houla. Three Israeli Merkava shells also hit the town of al-Khiam.
In response, Israeli media reported that five rockets were fired from Lebanon toward Metula in the Upper al-Jalil, triggering air raid sirens in the area. They also noted that interceptor missiles were launched against air targets in the north, and the Israeli army was assessing what was intercepted.
Additionally, reliable sources for Al Mayadeen revealed that it is customary for Hezbollah to state its operations, adding that the primitive method of the launch confirms that Hezbollah is not involved.
The source stressed that the enemy does not need any pretext to continue its attacks on Lebanon.
UNIFIL: Deep concerns about the escalation, urge adherence to ceasefire agreement
In this context, Andrea Tenenti, the official spokesperson for UNIFIL forces in southern Lebanon, expressed that "UNIFIL remains deeply concerned" about the risk of escalating violence following the launch of four rockets from Lebanon towards "Israel" near Metulla at approximately 7:30 a.m., which prompted an "immediate response from the Israeli army."
Tenenti emphasized the importance of all parties refraining from actions that could endanger the progress made, especially considering the threat to civilian lives and the fragile stability the region has experienced in recent months.
He further warned that any escalation in such a volatile environment could have severe consequences for the region, which remains highly unstable, urging both sides to uphold their commitments.
The UNIFIL spokesperson also confirmed that peacekeepers continue to perform their duties at all their locations.
