'Israel' willfully killed patients, arrested staff at al-Shifa: Report
The Israeli occupation forces are deliberately killing patients and staff in al-Shifa Medical Complex amid the ongoing raid on the Palestinian hospital.
The Government Media Office in Gaza reported Thursday that the Israeli occupation forces deliberately killed 13 patients in the al-Shifa Medical Complex and prevented them from receiving medicine and medical solutions.
The World Health Organization said that access to the al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza was now impossible, noting that there are reports of medical staff being arrested inside.
The organization called on "Israel" to "open more crossings and expedite the entry of food and medical aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip."
For his part, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini said that "blockade, hunger, and disease will soon become the main killer in Gaza."
Lazzarini added that "it is still possible to avoid this artificially-created catastrophic level of hunger by flooding Gaza with food and life-saving aid if there is the political will."
The UNRWA Commissioner-General stressed that "food should not be used as a weapon of war in Gaza," explaining that "this famine is man-made."
Israeli occupation forces have blown up a specialized building that hosts a specialized medical unit in Al-Shifa Medical Complex in west Gaza, while the IOF continues to lay siege to the complex and attack Palestinians inside for the fourth consecutive day.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Gaza reported that the IOF is still targeting any moving body in the complex, stressing that all communications are still cut off rendering everyone inside the complex unreachable.
Our correspondent added that the IOF also targeted a house within the vicinity of the complex in parallel with Israeli aircraft opening fire on the area.
Israeli aircraft also targeted a house in al-Shati refugee camp, also shelling many houses in al-Rashid Street and its vicinity in al-Mina neighborhood, west of Gaza.
In central Gaza, IOF warplanes targeted al-Nuseirat refugee camp four times up until the early morning hours today.
West of al-Nuseirat, nine Palestinians were killed after the IOF bombed a house. In Southern Gaza, the perpetual Israeli artillery shelling targeted east of Rafah in parallel with IOF vehicles opening heavy fire.
IOF cuts off ventilators in Al-Shifa
On Wednesday, the IOF cut off ventilators in Al-Shifa Medical Complex and opened random fire on everyone in its courtyard, including people who were only slightly visible to the IOF through the buildings' windows.
On the same day, twenty-seven Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Additionally, 23 Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that bombarded a gathering of popular committees responsible for securing the transportation of aid at Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.
Furthermore, several Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the al-Sidra area in the al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, coinciding with artillery shelling in other areas in the city and its north.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli aircraft bombarded a residential building in an area northwest of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery targeted the western areas of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
