'Israel's' allies shying away from 'unconditional support'
It seems it has become increasingly difficult for governments allied with the Israeli occupation to turn a blind eye to its numerous war crimes in Gaza.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's recent call for a "pause" in the Israeli bombardment has underscored how allies may be shifting from providing unconditional support for Israeli "self-defense" to focusing on the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza.
Allies have mostly refrained from criticizing "Israel", following its savage bombardment of Gaza and the 1,000 massacres committed so far.
Many of them have paid visits to the occupation and declared unwavering support.
However, as the number of Palestinians killed surpassed 9,000 and as hundreds of thousands have protested globally and called for a ceasefire, it seems it has become increasingly difficult for Western nations to turn a blind eye to the atrocities committed.
After meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday, Blinken expressed that “we need to do more to protect Palestinian civilians,” adding that he had provided “advice that only the best of friends can offer” on how the occupation could protect civilians.
"Israel" is obviously uninterested in any such advice, as it bombed an ambulance convoy departing from Al-Shifa Hospital heading to the Rafah border crossing.

Another massacre instantly followed the convoy's bombing, resulting in dozens of Palestinians killed or injured.

France is also scheduled to hold an international humanitarian meeting for the civilian population in Gaza on November 9, according to three diplomatic sources.
The most interesting part of the conference is that the Israeli occupation itself is not invited, even though the Palestinian Authority is.
Macron stated that "the fight against terrorism does not justify the sacrifice of civilians.”
EU leaders have turned down Netanyahu's requests to pressure Egypt to open its border with Gaza and accept Palestinian refugees, while nations led by France and the Netherlands have recently moved ships near the Palestinian coast and asked to be allowed to land aid supplies in Gaza's port.
In a Brussels meeting last week, EU leaders decried “all loss of civilian life” and urged “the protection of all civilians” and “humanitarian corridors and pauses for humanitarian needs."
During the summit, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez argued that it was not anti-Israeli to ensure humanitarian protection, telling other leaders that Israeli authorities would benefit by not harming civilians in order to avoid turning its people into "international pariahs".
The Spanish government rejected a "pro-Palestinian" stance, emphasizing that it was instead "balanced" and "protecting all civilians."
On the other side of the globe, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva declared that genocide was taking place in Gaza, declaring that "it's not a war, it's a genocide that has killed nearly 2 thousand children who have nothing to do with this war, they are victims of this war. And frankly, I don't know how a human being is capable of war knowing that the result of that war is the death of innocent children."
