Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, expressed astonishment and sorrow on Sunday at the distressing reports of the recovery of the remains of over 150 Palestinians in Gaza's Khan Younis.

The victims were deliberately executed by the IOF in the field, with bulldozers used to crush them before burying them in the Nasser Medical Complex yard.

Stressing the importance of upholding international humanitarian law, particularly the 1949 Geneva Conventions concerning hospitals and medical facilities, the spokesperson emphasized that responsibility for such atrocities extends beyond the Israeli entity to include supporting states.

Kanaani additionally pointed out that the systematic and repeated offenses committed by "Israel" against the population of Gaza constitute blatant instances of genocide and war crimes. He emphasized that it falls upon the international community and global organizations to address and hold accountable the perpetrators and leaders responsible for such atrocities.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he called upon the UN Secretary-General, the current President of the Security Council, and all relevant nations and members of the global community to condemn the "appalling" incident in Khan Younis. He further urged the utilization of national, regional, and international resources to prosecute the crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice.

'Israel's' genocidal rampage: Civilian executions, bulldozer Burials

Rescue and medical teams recovered on Sunday the remains of at least 150 Palestinians who were deliberately executed by the IOF in the field, with bulldozers used to crush victims to death before burying them in the yard of the Nasser Medical Complex in Gaza's Khan Younis.

Simultaneously, Gaza's Civil Defense spokesperson, Major Mahmoud Basal, confirmed that the bodies of more than 150 Palestinians killed in the Khan Younis massacre were recovered, with 500 others still missing.

Following the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from areas in the Strip, Gaza's Civil Defense reported that around 2,000 Palestinians from Gaza were recorded as missing, and it is still unclear whether they have been detained or killed by the IOF.

The spokesperson further stressed that the IOF are systematically using forced disappearance against the people of Gaza, bulldozing dozens of bodies and burying them before withdrawing from areas they invade.

He added that the IOF give Palestinians a fake sense of safety and then brutally kill them minutes later, emphasizing that a huge number of the victims of mass graves and hospital raids are women and children.

Basal labeled Israeli actions in Gaza as "ethnic cleansing", stressing that what is happening in Gaza has never happened anywhere else before in human history, and the weapons being used by the IOF had never been used before.
