'Surprise awaits enemy beyond Yemeni response': Million-man statement
A statement by the organizers of the million-man marches in Yemen affirms continued support for Palestine and escalations in the Armed Forces' operations.
On Friday, demonstrators swarmed the streets of Yemen for the 48th consecutive week in a million-man march under the banner "The Prophet of Guidance's Mawlid... A Call for Solidarity with Gaza and Al-Aqsa". The march included the Yemeni capital of Sanaa and 14 other governorates and came in support of the people of Palestine and the Yemeni Armed Forces continued supportive operations.
A statement issued by the march organizers affirmed the steadfastness of the Yemenis' position, which "defends the path of the Prophet and champions the oppressed Muslim people of Palestine." The statement further called for the rise of the nation and the return to God's Prophet, the "Sayyed of the Mujahideen".
"The great achievements accomplished at the hands of our Armed Forces humiliated the enemies in the sea," the statement read, adding that "The Americans fled and admitted defeat, making a large part of our sea free from US control."
Furthermore, the statement reiterated that the Yemeni response is indeed and inevitably on its way, but that "surprises await [the enemies] beyond the response."
Sun rises over Yemen with over 70 demonstrations
Yemen witnessed over 70 demonstrations on Friday morning in solidarity with the people of Palestine and their Resistance, spread across the provinces of Saada, Rayma, and Marib, and several districts in Amran, Ibb, Taiz, Hajjah, Dhamar, and al-Mahwit.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the number of mass demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people is expected to surge to 363 across the capital and various Yemeni governorates. These widespread protests reflect the growing momentum of solidarity with Palestine, as people rally in increasing numbers to express their support for the Palestinian cause and resistance.
This comes after Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi called on the Yemeni people to take part in Friday's million-man march, showing allegiance to the Prophet and in support of the Palestinian people, stressing that the Yemeni people "have achieved the honor of dignity and freedom from humiliating and degrading situations."
He recalled the millions of Yemeni people taking to the streets every week over the previous months, emphasizing that "there is no precedent for this among any people," noting that there are four generations in the streets, all of whom are coming out of faith, morals, and values, and with pain and enthusiasm.
He stressed that going out to the squares is not for political goals, but rather is part of the Yemeni people's struggle, affirming, "We will never let down the Palestinian people as long as there is a pulsating vein in us, and as long as there is life in us."
