'We have no choice but resistance': Hamas head in West Bank- Exclusive
The head of the Hamas movement in the occupied West Bank stresses that "the unjust criminal world that supports this occupation understands only the language of power."
Hamas and all Resistance factions emphasize their right to resist the Israeli occupation, affirmed Zaher Jabarin, the movement's head in the occupied West Bank.
Jabarin told Al Mayadeen that the "true secret" behind the Resistance's victories lies in the Palestinian factions' unity.
"We have no choice but resistance because the other option is surrender, and we will not surrender," he affirmed.
The senior Hamas official said that the Israeli occupation and its backers are "deluded" by believing they can defeat the Palestinian people, stressing that "the unjust criminal world that supports this occupation understands only the language of power."
He also pointed out that every occupation throughout history has been defeated, highlighting the fact that the Israeli occupation is not more powerful than the United States, France, and Britain.
Jabarin affirmed Hamas' readiness to reach an agreement leading to a comprehensive and complete cessation of war in the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to stop war crimes as stipulated by all norms and laws.
It is noteworthy that Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week said he would not agree to any deal that stipulates an end to the war on Gaza, indicating that he was only open to a "partial" deal that would facilitate the return of captives still held by the Palestinian Resistance.
One Palestinian killed in Israeli drone strike on house in West Bank
Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces assassinated a Resistance fighter by bombing a house he was in, in Tulkarm, northern West Bank.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli drone fired at a house in the al-Manshiyya neighborhood in the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm this afternoon, killing at least one Palestinian and injuring five others.
Palestinian sources reported that the martyr, identified as Saeed al-Jaber, is a Resistance fighter from the al-Quds Brigades in Tulkarm, stressing that al-Jaber had survived several assassination attempts by the Israeli occupation.
In response, Hamas called on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank to escalate their confrontations with the "fascist" Israeli occupation forces and settler militias and hold the accountable for their crimes.
