1 killed, 8 injured in shooting operation in "Ma'ale Adumim", al-Quds
Several injuries are described as hopeless and critical.
One Israeli settler was killed and eight others were injured in a shooting operation in "Ma'ale Adumim", according to Magen David Adom (the Red Star of David).
Three of the injuries are described as critical, while three others are described as moderate.
Simultaneously, Israeli media reported that the Palestinians "who carried out the operation exited the car and opened fire on the vehicles that were stuck in a traffic jam in the area."

The Israeli media pointed out that one of the Palestinians who carried out the operation deliberately collided with a vehicle, causing a traffic jam, and then the trio opened fire using "automatic weapons" and a pistol at Israeli settlers waiting in traffic on their way to occupied al-Quds.
Commenting on the incident, the spokesperson for the Israeli police said it was not over yet and that the area is being combed for the possibility of another shooter on the loose.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Police said the Palestinians who carried out the operation were armed with assault rifles, makeshift submachine guns, and a grenade.
It is worth noting that the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement is established on the ruins of the lands of the Palestinian towns of al-Eizariya and Abu Dis.
A new tactic shocks "Israel"
Israeli media rushed to admit that the "Ma'ale Adumim" operation is of a kind that is difficult to predict in advance.
Described as very difficult and harsh, the Palestinians who carried out the operation utilized a traffic jam for the well-planned operation, which Israeli media noted hasn't been seen for a long time.
Channel 13's correspondent highlighted that the operation occurred despite daily warnings from the security and military establishment about potential Palestinian operations.
The incident is described as a scenario precisely feared by the Israeli police.
In a recent update, Al Mayadeen's correspondent affirmed that two of the Palestinians who carried out the operation were martyred and the third was seriously injured and subsequently detained.
Our correspondent reported that the two martyrs were brothers from Beit Lahm.
Israeli media also raised concerns about potential unrest in the West Bank and occupied al-Quds during the holy month of Ramadan, which is set to commence in early March this year, and the month is synonymous with several occasions that Muslims celebrate.
Israeli media, citing the security and military establishment in "Tel Aviv", anticipated the potential involvement of the Palestinian Authority's security forces in the resistance against Israeli occupation forces during the holy month of Ramadan.
This is happening as Netanyahu has lately yielded to the demands of Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to limit the access of worshippers from the '48 occupied territories to al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan while the Israeli genocide in Gaza continues for 139 days, killing at least 30,000 Palestinians. The measure also comes hand in hand with increased systematic oppression of Palestinians in the occupied territories, including wide-scale detention campaigns and assassinations against Palestinians in the West Bank.
