Two others were injured in the attack, as a passing vehicle was caught in the blast, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Yesterday, in yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, Israeli warplanes launched a series of intense airstrikes, resembling a fire belt, across the hills overlooking the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon.

Our correspondent said one woman was martyred and 11 civilians sustained injuries after an Israeli airstrike directly struck a building in Nabatieh al-Fawqa.

Our correspondent emphasized that the Israeli occupation targeted areas north of the Litani River, implementing a fire belt tactic intended to cause widespread destruction across southern Lebanese terrain.

The violations mark some of the thousands since the ceasefire took effect on November 27, 2024, amid continued Israeli incursions into Lebanese border villages, daily drone attacks and assassinations, and violent air raids targeting Lebanese infrastructure in South Lebanon, and occasionally, Beirut's Southern Suburb.
