Israeli doctors are calling for the murder of innocent civilians and the committing of war crimes under the guise of fighting the Palestinian Resistance.

A hundred Israeli doctors have signed a petition calling for the destruction of al-Shifa hospital in the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli occupation embarks on that exact journey.

The petition, titled "Doctors for the rights of [Israeli] soldiers," calls for the bombing of a Palestinian hospital housing thousands of refugees who are seeking shelter there because, generally, bombing hospitals is not allowed under international law, though "Israel" has proven time and time again that it has no regard for such stipulations.

Gazans 'brought their destruction upon themselves'

The Israeli doctors see that Palestinian hospitals have become a legitimate target for the Israeli occupation forces, upholding the narrative that Palestinian Resistance groups are using hospitals for protection.

"They built terrorist headquarters inside the hospitals with the understanding that no harm would come to them," the petition says about Hamas. "That murderous terrorist organization spares no means and brutally commits murder and unprecedented atrocities against people, women and children - therefore any place where its people hide and/or is used for terrorist activity is a legitimate target for destruction - even if it is houses patients.

"Whoever integrates terrorism into hospitals must understand that he has no safe place and grab on to the horns of the altar," the letter continued, referencing Kings 2:28.

"The residents of Gaza saw fit to turn the hospitals into terrorist nests in an attempt to take advantage of the morality of the West; they are the ones who brought their destruction upon themselves," the doctors added, using the same rhetoric of practically holding innocent civilians, including little children, accountable for any act of Resistance carried out against "Israel".

"There is an obligation to destroy the wasps' nests and the hospitals that are used to shelter them," it added.

Health system collapsed

The IOF have previously targeted ambulances, as well as hospitals, committing numerous massacres against the people of Gaza, with a death toll that has surpassed 9,500.

On Thursday, the director of Al-Shifa Hospital said that electricity has been cut off in some sections of the hospital due to fuel depletion.

Following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in "Tel Aviv", various Israeli media outlets quickly reported, citing Netanyahu's office or sources within it, that the decision to deny the entry of fuel into the Gaza Strip remains unchanged.

Electricity, clean water, and fuel have all run out, and there are no medical supplies or lifesaving treatments. Dozens of hospitals and medical centers have been shut down, meaning that patients have to be transferred to the remaining hospitals, which are already overcrowded.

The World Health Organization said on Thursday that it was nearly impossible to transfer medical supplies to hospitals and criticized the absence of safety guarantees for sending humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
